Nicotiana alata :  This tender perennial has fragrant flowers. Plant is primarily grown as an annual, and is suitable for edging, borders, beds, or containers. Most nurseries that offer N. alata are most often providing N. X sanderae. N. X sanderae is a cross between N. alata and N. forgetiana. Monitor plant for tobacco mosaic virus, aphids, and beetles.
